The following are a few of the purposes for wlu'ch Funds will be absolutely required :—: — For making preliminary surveys, and obtaining engineering assistance in laying out the proposed works. For taking evidence as to the best means of increasing the water supply. For printing, stationery, and literary assistance. If supported by the public, the Convention entertain sanguine hopes of success in their undertaking.
