Teams to be on the ground at 9.30 a.m. All entries to be left with the Secretary at the Tuapeka Times Office, Lawrence, on or before 6 p. m. on Wfrtiifaday, the tf th- -August, and at Waitahuna, under cover, addressed to the Secretary, at Mr. Coghill's Hotel, on the same day, at 4 p.m.; or on the morning of the match, by paying a double entrance fee. Depth of furrow, five inches. Ploughmen to find their own width. Each team to plough one-third of an acre. Time allowed — Horses, five hours ; bullocks, six do. Each ploughman to find his own poles, and no assistance allowed after the poles are set ; otherwise, disqualified.
