"WARDEN'S COURT.
(Before W. L. Simpson, Esq., Warden.) M'Lean, Bellamy Station, v. 11. M'Millan. — The defendant was charged with allowing forty head of groat cattle to stray on the Bellamy Station. Mr. Gooday appeared for plaintiff. In this case the tresspass was acknowledged, and as no special damage was sued for, verdict was given for plaintiff, defendant to pay £3 and costs of Court. A. Blewitt, Chinese Interpreter, v. certain Chinese, — For mining without having miners' rights. As the various parties had in the meantime furnished themselves with rights, the case 3 were withdrawn. Wednesday, Aug. 3. The objections to the application of John Fitzgerald for an agricultural lease were heard. Tho evidence of tho ol> jectors went to show that thure was gold on the land, and that the ground applied for was within the boundary of mining reserve. Tho further consideration of the matter was reserved until next Tlmr.3day, meantime the Warden to %islb the ground.
