KEEN . has received instructions from Mr. Hopkins, of Evans' Flat, to sell by public auction, at the Auction Mart, White-jiayen-street, The whole of his valuable Library, consisting of Standard Works, by the best authors, consigned direct to Mr. Hopkins by a Glasgow publisher. The Auctioneer considers it unnecessary to occupy space with comments on the above — the large, varied, and valued assortment of Books owned by Mr. Hopkins being a household word with every reading man in Tuapeka. After the above, Mr. Keen will sell a splendid lot of Sundries, consisting of kerosene lamps, purses, meerschaum pipes, tobacGO pouches, pocketbooks, &c. Also, Household Furniture and Paperhangings, SATURDAY NEXT, 16th July, at one o'clock punctually. Mri Keen, in announcing this sale, has the honour to inform the public that he intends to hold a Quarterly Sale at Coghill's Yarda, Waitahuna, and he solicits the support of stoekowners, being satisfied that a regularly conducted quarterly gale will largely benefit the community. STOOKOWNERS who may wish to ente]i cattle, horses, <^c., at these sales, are requested tp communicate w.ith Mr. Keen ay post, or otherwise, as early as possible prior to each sale, enclosing full particulars of stock, so as to allow time for classification.
