PUBLIC NOTICE. Given in conformity with Section 1, Regulation IV., of the Rules and Regulations of the Otago Goldfields. TTTHEREAS I have received sufficient ' » proof that the portion of the Otago Goldfields described in the Schedule hereto annexed, has been fairly tested, and is either in whole or in part of an inferior character as regards the value of its gold deposits : Now, therefore, I hereby give notice that the same may be occupied by holders of Miners' Rights in claims of the undermentioned size, viz. : One (1) acre for each holder of a Miners' Right, provided that no block claim shall comprise more than six (6) acres altogether. All that portion of the Otago Goldfields comprised within the following boundaries, that is to say : — The east and west banks of the Clutha River, for a distance of five hundred (500) yards back from either bank, commencing at the Benger Burn, and extending northwards for a distance of two (2) miles, or thereabout, to the punt-crossing of Messrs. Cargill and Anderson, Mount Benger District. NOTICE. TUAPEKA AND WAITAHUNA DEPASTURING DISTRICTS. TN accordance with a recommendation of the Board of Wardens, His Honour the Superintendent has sanctioned the re-ad-justment of the Boundary between Great and Small Cattle, which will in future be as under : — Starting from Dewes' farm in a straight line north to a gully known as Flume Gully, thence along the watershed of Blyth's I Gully in a north- west direction, 1 and terminating at the Waitahuna River.
