ELECTORAL REGISTRATION,
Mr. SHEPHERD moved, "Ist. That this Council is of opinion that the present system of Electoral Registration is not adapted to the requirements of the colony. 2nd. That this Council recommends to the consideration of the General Assembly, the advisability of amending the existing Electoral Registration Acts, with the view of simplifying the present system so as to afford increased facilities for the registration of qualified persons. 3rd. That the above resolution be forwarded to the Colonial Executive by Mr. Speaker." Mr. HUG-EIES seconded the resolutions, which were carried.
