Vane, formerly one of Gardener* gang of bushrangers, has been liberated. The Government have introduced a Bill axing the Governor's salary at £6000.

Adelaide. The unemployed agitation still- continues, Government has offered work at 3s, a day. Vere, charged with the Avoca murder, has been arrested at Bowman's Flat, Rinnis.
