STOCK REPORT.

Messrs Driver, Maclean & Co. report — Prime Beef, 25s per lOOlbs. Prime Mutton, lfd per lb. Store Cattle— Mixed mobs, 1 £3 to L 3 10a ; do. bullocks, two fa four years, L 4 to L§. Good Dairy Cows, £8 to Ll2. Store Sheep- Ewes, 2, 4, and 6 tooth, 4s 6d to 5s each ; wethers, 4, 6, and j tooth, 4s 6d. Messrs. Wrkjht, Stephenson, and Co. report, for the week ending the 26th instant, as follows : — Fat Cattle. — One draft yarded by us brought from L 7 5s to HO 10s per head ; equal to 2oa per lOOibs for prime quality, and 20s to 22s Qd for lniddling. Fat Sheep. — The number passed through our hands, this week was upwards of 1200 ;

competition for good lots was brisk, and an advance on late rates easily obtained. A superior draft of §00 merino wethers from Merrie Creek station realised from 2s 6d to 10s each, equal to 2id per lb ; 300 half-breds, 83 to 8s 9d; and 400 merino ewes and wethers, (Js 3d to 7s. We quote prime mutton 2d to 2Jd per lb. Fat Lambs. — We penned 347, which sold at from 3. s 6d to 4s each.

Store Stock. — Very little doing, although there is an enquiry for good store wethers. Horses. — On Saturday we yarded a mob of useful light horses, principally broken in ; they averaged about L 9 each. We also sold the draught stud horsp Major for L 76. The demand for good heavy draught still continues but none offering. Current rates :—: — Heavy draught, L4Q to L4B j medium, L 25 to L3O ; good hacks and light harness horses, Ll£ to L2l ; useful do., L 7 to LJ.3 ; inferior, LI 10s and upwards.
