QUARTERLY LICENSING MEETING

The usual Quarterly Licensing meeting was held in the Courthouse, Lawrence, on Tuesday last. The only Justice of the Peace present on the occasion was Alex. Stewart, Esq., M.D. lUAPEKA FLAT. P, Macledowney applied for a Transfer of License in fa-vour of John Johnson. No objection. Also for a Night License. No objection. John Ford applied for a Night License. No objection. J. Robertson applied for a General and Night License. No objection. WAITAHANA. J. Tanton applied for a Night License. No objections. MANU£A CREEK. J. G. Gardner applied for a General License. No objections, In the absence of a quorum of Justices, the applications, to which there were no objections, could not be granted without the consent of the Superintendent. His consent was to be forthwith asked.
