The New Zealand flax market is quiet, tmt steady ; quotations, L4O 75., showing a fall of L 5 per ton. The decline is attributed to heavy arrivals and the fall in Manilla hemp. The best flax is at L 45. New Zealand securities are improved. Bankruptcies are extremely numerous.
