STOCK REPORT.

Messrs Driver, Maclean & Co. report — Prime Beef, 25s per JOOlbs. Prime Mutton, l^d per lb. Store Cattle — Mixed mobs, £,4 to L 4 10s ; do. bullocks, two to four years, L 5 to L 6. Good Dairy Cows, £8 to Ll2. Store Sheep- Ewes, 2, 4, and 6 tooth, 5s to 5s 6d each ; wethers, 4, 6, and 8 tooth, 4s 6d. Messrs. Weight, Stephenson and Co. report for the week ending the sth inst., as follows : — ITat Cattle.— We yarded two drafts middling to prime quality. Q-ood beef brought from 22s 6d to 25s j inferior, 20s per lOOlbs.

Fat Sheep. — Our sales comprise 950 head sold at auction. A lot of inferior merinos fetched 4s 6d ; best do, 6s ; half-breds, 7s 6d to 7s 9d each, equal to l£d per lb. Fat Lambs — Market over supplied. A reduction on last week's rates had to be submitted to. 260 head sold by us at from 3s 6d to 4s 6d per head.

Store Cuttle. — As yet there are very few enquiries for this description of stock ; the only transaction we can report is the sale of 2000 2, 4, and 6-tooth half-bred wethers, at ss.

Horses. — We held two sales afc our yard ; for heavy draught stock biddings were animated. The following are the prices obtained : — Heavy draught, £40 to £48 ; medium do, £27 to £35 j useful hacks and light harness horses, £14 to £20; inferior, £5 and upwards.
