BOARD OF WARDENS.
A meeting of the Board of Wardens for the Tuapeka depasturing district was held in Coghill's Bridge Hotel, Waitahuna, on Tuesday evening, the Bth inst. Present — Messrs. Browne (in the chair), Robertson, Poison, Eddie, Evans, Michael, Dewes, and Gascoigne (Secretary). The Inspector was also present. The principrl business before the Board was the consideration of several applications for the depasturing of cattle on the commonage. The minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed. The Secretary read a copy of a letter he had forwarded to the Government.
After some conversation relative to several applications which had been previously before the Board, but which had been sent in late, it was agreed to again consider them.
