POSTAL NOTICE.
Mails close at this office as under :— For Duuedin, via Waitahuna, Glenore, Tokomairiro, and all offices between Tokomairiro and Dunedin, daily at 8 p.m., Sundays at 5 p.m. For Blue Spur, daily, at 5 p.m. For Wetherstones, daily, at 5 p.m. For Beaumont, Miller's Flat, Teviot Junction, Long; Valley, Manuherikia, Clyde, and offices beyond Clyde, every AVeduesday, at 5 p.m. For Pomahaka, Switzers, and Nokotnai, every Friday, at 5 p.m. For Tapanui, on Wednesday, at 5 p.m. All up-country mails arrive in Lawrence every Wednesday evening. The office closes, for sale of stamps, issue and payment of money orders, registration and delivery of letters, punctually at 5 p.m. The Telegraph Office' is open to the publio on week days from 9 am to 5 p.m., and on Sundays from JO to 10 30 a.m., and 5 to 5.30 p.m., N.Z. mean time.
