Messrs Driver, Maclean & Co. report — Prime Beef , 25s 6d to 30s per 1 OOlbs. "Weight, Stephens©!*, and Co. report for tie w,eek ending the 4th inst as • follows : — Fat cattle None yarded ; prime beef, we quote at from 27s 6d to 30s; middling, 25s per lOOlbs. Fat ahe'ep. — We sold by auction 400 head shorn, at prices equal to lfd per lb ; and for delivery, 250 half-breds at 2£d per lb.' Fat lambs.— ss head half-Breds brought at auction 8s 64 each. Store cattle. — We have no sales to record. Quotations : — Steers, 2 to 4 years old, L 5 10s to L 6; mixed mobs, L 4 10s to L 5, Store sheep. — We placed 2500 wethers at 6s, and quote 4, 6, and 8 s tooth mertno wethers, 6e'to' 6s dd ; mixed hoggetts, 6s 6d each. Horses. — There ie a moderate demand for both light and heavy descriptions. On Saturday we sold the first draft of Mr. M'Leish's shipment ex Australind, a very useful lot of eoachers and hacks; prices ranged from Lll to L 24. Current rates are : heavy draught, 'L 49 io Lsp ; medium do L2sto L 33;3 3; first-class hacks and light harness horses, L 25. to L3O j rcei'ul do, Ll2 to LlB ; inferior nominal.
