WARDEN'S COURT.

Monday, November 15th. (Before W. L. Simpson, Esq., Warden.)

N'JSTab and others v. Campbell, manager of the Otago Gold Mining Company. — This case came on again for hearing. His Worship asked Mr Keen whether he was still prepared to file a minute giving jurisdicton to the Court in a matter affecting a mining lease. Mr Keen said that after further consideration and inquiry, he had decided not to do so. Such a proceeding on his part might affect his clients' interest if, in the event of the verdict being adverse, he might wish to appeal. His Worship said that he had no jurisdiction.

Mr Mouat was heard at considerable length, and suggested that plaintiffs should be allowed to come into Court as mining lease applicants only, a proceeding to which Mr Keen refused to consent.

Case dismissed with costs, and LI expenses.

Thursday, 18th November,

Lewis v. Jtankin and another.—Application for dissolution of a caining partnership. Mr Keen for plaintiff, and Mr Mob at for defendants. This case, which was exceedingly uninteresting, occupied the Court nearly three hours, and resulted in a verdict for plaintiff dissolving the partnership. The property to. be sold, Mr Hayes, Accountant, was appointed receiver to wind up the affairs of the partnership.
