Nkw Yobk, June 14th. ' Gold Is at 148$ premium. General Grant arrived, at New York on the 14th, en route ,for Washington. He waa enthusiastically received. At Springfield and Worcester, members of the Spanish Junta, who had been appointed to assist the Cuban insurrection, have been arrested. They wew released on bail of 5,000 dollars, and were subsequently bound over in the sum of 2,500 dollars to keep the peace. It ia reported that these arrests were procured by the Spanish Minister, without the knowledge of Secretary Fish. The "New York Herald " stronly denounce the proceedings, saying that they arise from the timidity and vacillation of the present Government with respect to Cuban affairs, and which have created feelings of distrust in the public mind.
