Thuesdat, June 3

Mackay v. Poison and Sutherland. — This case was last week adjourned, at the instance of defendant. At the request of plaintiff, it was further adjourned for one week.

In the application of Maclean for an agricultural lease. — Objected to by Mr. Love. The evidence went to show that on the ground applied for the miners made from 15s. to £25 per week. Mr. Maclean accepted the lease conditionally that miners shall bo allowed to enter the ground and search for gold, without payment of any compensation.
