CHEAP MEAT.
(To the Editor of the Tuapeka Times.)
Sik,— It is wonderful that some enterprising admirer doea not follow here the system which is now almost unavoidably followed in all towns of any importance in the province, viz. , the supplying meat at a cheap rate by the half or whole carcass I perceive that one haa commenced at Tokomairiro, is disposing of Kia meat at 2^d. per lb. , if it pay there -surely it will do the same here. I hope to see this system adopted here ere long, as it would be a manifest improvement on the present practise.- I am &0.,
