Inspector of Nuisances v. Joseph Gribb. — 'For not filling up certain holes dug by him within the municipal boundary. A week was allowed defendant to fill them up.
Same v. G-riflen. — "For allowing a certain quantity of filthy water to remain on his property, Eoss-place. Mr. Eichards, who appeared for the defendant, admitted that a nuisance did exist, but that the same was occasioned by the leakage of the standpipes fixed on the corporation water mains, and that the corporation themselves were the cause of the nuisance complained 0f... . The defendant further stated that an action was now pending against the Council for damages sustained by him through the acts of the corporation.
Grriffen v. Hayes. — "William Hayes was summoned in his capacity as Town Clerk for damages sustained by plaintiff through the acts of the corporation. Damages £20. Mr. Eichards for plaintiff, and Mr. Hayes for the Council. Mr. Hayes took exception to Ins liability in the matter, and that the corporation were the parties to sue. Both cases were adjourned for one week.
