DISTRICT HANDICAP, of 60 soys., with a sweepstake of _ 2 soys. each ; the .second horse to receive amount accruing from the sweepstakes. Nominations, with two guineas enclosed, to be received by the Secretary up to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, 10th Feb. The weights to be declared in the " "Daily Times" on 13th February. Acceptances, with two guineas, together with sweepstakes of two guineas, to be received by Secretary^ , before 10" ,p.m. on Monday, lotn February, 1869. HANDICAP TROTTING RACE, of 30 soys. ; distance, three miles; entrance, 2 soys. Optional saddle or .harness. No weight under lOst. 111 b. MINERS' PURSE, of 20 soys. ; mile heats ; weight for age. All horses in this race must be the bond fife property of a working miner three months previous to the race. Entrance, 2 soys. Post entries. SECOND DAY. LADIES' PURSE, of 25 soys. ; entrance, 3 soys. ; gentlemen riders ; welter weights ; distance, two miles. TOWN PLATE, of 100 soys , second horse to receive 10 soys. out of stakes; distance, three miles ; weight for age ; entrance, 5 guineas. HURDLE RACE, of 30 soys. ; welter weights ; distance, 3 miles ; over nine flight of hurdles three and a half feet . high ; entrance, 2 guineas. CONSOLATION HANDICAP, of 15 soys., for all beaten horses ; distance, one and a half miles.; entrance, 1 soy. EULES AND EEGULATIONS. Mares and Geldings allowed 31b. All disputes, claims, and objections arising out uf the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whoever they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of the Programme shall be final. No person shall be allowed to enter or run a horse for any race in this programme (post entry races excepted) unless the Latter be qualified as the bond fide property of a subscriber to the Race Fund of not less than two guineas. Entries to be received by the Secretary, at his office, Peel-street, Lawrence, up to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, 17th February. Entrance money, enclosed with name, age, and pedigree (if any) of. the horse, md name of owner and colors of the rider. Any Jockey riding except in the colors entered, will be fined £2. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes for expenses. Horses walking over will receive 50 per :ent. of the stakes.
