P Ghristrna3 comes but once a year, "With yule log brightly burning ; When every heart is filled with gleg We must not think of inourning. The girls are looking sweet and kind,— The cue ning littlp foxes ; For us they do not care a red, But for then Christmas-boxes. Beneath tho mystic mistletoe I'll kiss them o'er and o'er; And if they cry " Now, Gus dear, dont," TO hug them all the more. And at the game of snapdragon I'll feel quite fresh and frisky; And if plum pudding makes me sick, I'll cure myself with whisky. ■Then go it, lads and lasses all : To eld leave care and sqrrqw; The joy that * c can grasp to-day Haa fled before the morrow.
