WARDEN'S COURT.
(Before W. L. Simpson, Esq., 8.M.) Wednesday, 18th Nov. The hearing of Q-. Keane's application for nine acres on Tuapeka Plat was heard. The granting of the application was opposed by Mr. Love. It turned out that the ground applied for was within the extended area granted for mining purposes, therefore the application could not be granted. ' The Warden advised the applicant to withdraw his application, and get back his deposit, as there was no cjaance of his getting the ground. Elliot and Livingstone v. Cheeth. — As this case was consequent on the other, the hearing of same was also by consent adjourned to 17th Dec.
