HOSPITAL MEETING.

A general meeting of subscribers to the Tuapeka Hospital was held in the schoolroom on Tuesday evening. The usual meeting of Committee prior to the general meeting lapsed for want of a quorum. Mr. Hay was called to occupy the chair, and the minutes of the last meeting were " read. Dr. Halley said before the minutes were approved, he should like to make a few remarks on the part referring to Mr. Richard's conduct as Secretary.
