A Petition, signed by nearly 200 residents oj the Teviot and neighborhood, wa3 lately forwarded to the chief Postmaster for a bi-weekly mail from Lawrenco to the Teviot, and we are very glad to learn that the Postmaster-General at Wellington has promised to accede to the wish of the inhabitants in establishing a biweekly service along that route. Mr. Bradley, the present contractor for the Dunstan mail, will thus receive some encouragement to continue his spirited enterprise in suppljing the Teviot with a bi-weekly instead of a weekly coach.
