RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT, LAWRENCE.
(Before Major Croker, R.M. ) Saturday, 13th June. Keen y. Boland.— Mr. Keen sued Boland for the sum of £5, being balance of account for professional services rendered, the plaintiff and defendant, and another witness being «raminea. The Magistrate stated that itwao duly proved that a contract had been entered Into, He would therefore give verdict for plaintiff for amount sued, and ooits of Court. The defendant then stated that he would never pay a cent of the money, and walked out of Court. Wednesday, 17th Jane. Hopkins v. Baker.— No appearano© of defendant. Verdict for amount claimad, coats of Court, and 10b. expenses k Thunday, 18th June. Herbert and Co. v. Baker.—Claim, £8 odd* No ■p.earance of- defendant.
