DUNEDIN PRODUCE REPORT.
May 14, 1868. Mr. O. W. Lorenzon, Produce Salesman' Jetty-street, reports : —
Transactions are confined to small parcels for immediate consumption, there being few orders for shipment, and no speculative deznand. Oats are Id. cheaper, but there is no, change in any other article. The following are the latest quotations :—: — Wheat. — $3. Od. ; inferior, oa. pgr bußhelFlour.— "Colonial, £19 10s. per ton. Seconds. — Lls 10s. per ton, Bran. — la. Id. per bushel. Maize. — 3s. 6d. per bushel. Barley. — As. Od. per bushel, Oats. — 2s. 6d. per bushel. Chaff.— L4 10s. per ton. Hay. — Oaten, loose L 4; trussed., 14 10s. per ton. Straw. — (Oat and wheat), L 2 per ton. Rye Grass Seed. — ss. Od. per bushel Eye Grass Hay and Clover. — L§ 10s. to L 4 per ton.
Potatoes. — New, white, L 5 per ton j Derwent, lil 10s. ; kidneys, LB.
Peas. — Green, 15s. per cwt. Horse beans, 6s. per bushel. Bone Dust. — None in the njaiket. Corn Sacks. — 18s. per doz.
