TUAPEKA GOLDFIELDS HOSPITAL.
The quarterly meeting of the sub- *\ icribers to the Hospital was he}d -in the Schoolroom on Tuesday evening ; present : Mr Bastings, President (in the chair), Dra. Stewart and Halley, Messrs. M'Swin"»y, Gibb, Potts, Farrar, Henderson, Lyng, Smith, and Richards (Secretary). The Chairman said, the balance-sheet to be submitted for their approval was from the Ist of January to the 31st of March. The balance-sheet, .as follows, was then
Secretary. The above balance-sheet and statement were then unanimously adopted, without any remarks being passed upon them. The out-door patients for the quarter had tiumbered sixty. It was stated, for the information of the meeting, that during the month there were twenty-seven males and three females in the Hospital, and twenty out-door patients. Mr. Farrar stated that the financial statement, as laid before the meeting, was based upon the assumption that the Government would continue the subsidy of three to one as hitherto. Printed reports of last year's transactions were distributed amongst those gentlemen present. There being no other business, the meeting separated.
