(From our Own Correspondent.) The river has risen, and, consequently, many claims cannot be worked. Ad else if iniich a* usual. The Presbytery of Clutho meets here on Monday. 13th instant, to moderate in a call. Mr. Waters, I believe, is to preach and preside on the occasion. | On Good Friday Eve we are to have a tea meeting with the Sunday-school childien, to Winch we loolc forward -srith interest. _A1- I though the Sabbath-schools in this district are not large, they are very well conducted ; and an effort to benefit the young persons of a district should awaken general sympathy. Rumors of a meeting, to consider the " Land Question " have reached us. There is some dissatisfaction felt that the Molyneux land . 'still remains unpperced. •It isy I should think, . a decided injury to the district, that the land ( should be comparatively worthless.
