N O T I 0 E '.. • QTOCKOWNERS and owners of Cattle and Sheep' throughout the Tuapeka District, are requested to forward to me as early as convenient, an accurate description of their marks and brands on Sheep and Cattle, in order that the same may be entered in a "Register of Brando Book;" which book, together with a monthly list of Sheep and Cattle Slaughtered at all Licensed Slaughteryards in this District, will be at all times open for examination by persons desirous of inspecting the same. FIVE POUNDS REWARD. fIIAKEN from amongst my Cattle, on A the 7th of last month, a RHOAN COW, branded the form of a heart and the letter M on off rump, and a half -circle and tfie letter ,B on off side; prime, fat, and weighing from 600 to 630 lbs. Also, her Steer, following her, about eighteen months old, in fine condition, and branded half-circle and letter R. My ear mark is on both. Any person who can give such information as will lead to the arrest of the thief or thieves will receive the above Reward ; and aa I believe both Cow and Steer have been slaughtered, should any one produce evidence which will lead to a conviction a reward of £10 will be given.
