WHIPPET RACING AT ENGLISH PARK.
Whippet racing: promises to he a popular sport in Canterbury, judging- by the entries for this afternoon's meeting: of the New Zealand Whippet Club, which was held at English Bark. The attendance was not large, but those present saw some exciting races. The officials for the meeting were: Judges, Messrs W. Irwin and J. Seymour; starter, Mr A. 11. Forbes; handicapper, Mr G.
