At a meeting of the WBangaroa Dairy Company, the manager protested that he had ordered from an Auckland firm a set of moisture scales, which had been needed immediately. No question of price was raised. When the scales were received it was found the} r had been made in Germany. lie strongl}' objected to being supplied with a German instrument when the produce was being marketed j in England. \ His protest was unanimously endorsed, and the secretary was instructed to specify British when ordering future supplies.
