[Rbuter'b Telegrams.] MELBOURNE, Dae. 20. At the wool aale to-day, the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agenoy Oompany, Limited, offered 4500 bales. There was a large attendanoe of buyerß, and brißk competition. The market iB unchanged. The demand for good wools was maintained, but inferior qualities were neglected in sympathy with the London market. 3500 baleß were aold at satisfactory prices, making the total for the week 4100 bales. SYDNEY, Deo. 20. Sailed — Wairarapa, s.s., for Auokland. BRISBANE, Dec. 20. Eight liberated conviots from the Frenoh penal settlement at Noumea have arrived at Maryborough.
