[Pbb Pbbbb Abbooiatiox.] ANOTHEE FIBB. AUOKLAND, Deo. 20. At the inquest on the body of Bobert foreshew, who died in a polioe cell in a state of drunkenness, the polioe returned a verdiot of death from serous apoplexy. Dr Goldsbro, an old identity, is dead. A fire broke out at 10 o'olook to-night in a blook in Hobson street. It commenoed in a building known as Carleton Academy, but now ooeupied hy Mallindin as a cabinetmaking shop on behalf of the Auckland Timber Oompany, whioh was destroyed. Plumley, dentist, is insured for £800 on the building in the New Zealand Offioe. A fanoy goods shop adjacent, oooupied by Mrs 'lurnbull, was damaged ; stook insured in Union for £1000. Plumley's residenoe alongside is insured for £750,- damage, £60. The Auokland Timber Company is insured on Mallindin'a atook for £800, it is believed in the Bouth British. The origin of the fire was a light oapsiaing in a polish vat.
