HOME RULE CRISIS.
ULSTER'S PREPARATIONS, London, December 17. The proclamation forbidding the importation' of arms has aggravated the situation in Ulster. It is generally felt that an ultimate crisis cm scarcely be averted. It is apparent that the importation of arms has been proceeding on a large scale. Over 100,000 rifles of good pattern are lying in the various Ulster depots. The Nationalists are also well supplied with revolvers. It.is scarcely an exaggeration to speak of Ulster at present as an armed camp. The Daily Chronicle states that; Cabinet ha s decided to 'eliminate the provisions for transfer of the Post Office to the Irish Parliament from the Home Rule Bill.
