The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The Chairman reported that, ' , in company with representatives . ■ of /other bodies, he had visited *tl .the Domain in order to ascertain \ its "suitability for recreation purtposes. The delegates, howevet \ had been unable to come to a de- , - ' cision. and he had therefore re-, • ' quested a surveyor to/take the . levels, when it was found that it . • would cost so much for filling as ! ' 1 to render the scheme impracticr It was 1 decided, therefore, > to abandon the idea, .Mr L.
