: ! -i Messrs Dalgety and Co. report: We held our monthly stock sale in the Te Aroha yards on Friday, October 31, when we yarded 388 head of cattle, all of first class condition and quality, Four pens of yearling steers for J. As usual, dairy stock at this time of the year, *was easier in price. We quote Fat bullocks £9 16s fat cows £5 10s to £7, forward empty cows £3 18s to £4 16s, store cows £212s to £310s, best yearling steers £3 6s to £4, small ditto £212s to £3, yearling heifers £2 10s to £3 ss, dairy cows £6 5s to £710s, dairy heifers £4 to £6 ss. At Te Awamutu on November 1 wc had a full yarding of stock.' Dairy cattle and bulls were dull of sale. Empty cows and yearling steers sold mF.
