POULTRY AND PICS FOR PROFIT
1 Whilst it is necessary to pay particular attention to the class of breed and the conditions under ] which poultry and pigs are raised, ; these avail nothing if proper atJ tention is not bestowed on their \ disposal. ; For over 31 years Mr J. Jones, of Victoria and Lome Streets, Auckland, has specialised in the ; disposal of this class of live stock, ; ana as a result his connection has 5 grown wonderfully. ( This latter | fact has brought him in close touch with all consumers, and the prices obtained — especially of I late-proves conclusively that the producers cannot do better than entrust him with the disposal of ; their pigs and poultry. A trial consignment will convince the farmers of this district that they have taken the right | course. Mr Jones invites corres- ; pondence, and assures correspondents prompt replies. A feature of their business that ha* come prominently under our notice of late has been the promptitude displayed in the forwarding of account sales and cheoue. These invariably come to hand by < return mail. The firm has baen established for over 31 years, and besides disposing of poultry and pigs they have a big connection with the producers of fruit, dairy and farm produce, many of whom have found it profitable to obtain in return all the grain necessary for feeding and cropping. In fact they act as buyers and sellers for farmers situated far and wide throughout the Auckland province. Although there are several people with the name of Jones in Auckland, there is only one auctioneer with the name of J. Jonc3, whose trade mark is "J.J." A.
