Yesterday the Te'Puke Gun Club journeyed to Paengaroa to shoot a match with that team, and after-a close contest managed to win by the narrow margin of seven points'. On Tuesday next an Opitiki team of riflemen shoot off with the, local men for the Janldns' Cup. The'contest is expected to be a very keen one, as the: team from down the Coast, it is understood, are experts in the use and handling of the rifle. The local men will need to be at their best if they wish to* retain the trophy. Prior to the Te Puke match Opotiki shoot with .Tauranga on the Monday preceding the local match.'
