FOOTBALL.
KUSABS CUP. The following team will represent the Te Puke Rugby Union against Tauranga ion Saturday next at Tauranga. It will be observed that no Maoris are included, this being due to the regulations. recently published by the Health Department prohibiting Natives from travelling. The Tauranga team will also be composed entirely of whites. Players: Whyte, Drabble, F. Stewart, Ansell, Ryburn, Bennett, Stewart, Kerr, Downey, Robinson, Douglas, Bird, Terry, Walters, Riddell, Barke, Hurse, Stewart. The Te Puke reps will play a match against Rotorua on the 23rd inst., at Rotorua. Should the team be successful in its match with Tauranga on Saturday the game will be for the Kusabs Cup, but otherwise will be merely an inter-union match. A seven-aside tournament will be played in Mr Montgomery's paddock on Thursday, and should with the additional attraction of the .running match between Terry and Hurse, draw a large crowd of spectators. Teams have been entered by the Uuited, Maketu, Rangiuru. and Paengaroa Clubs, and by Messrs King and Co.
