— 1 — ♦ — ANNUAL REPORT. The following is the report presented at the annual meeting of the Te Puke Bowling Club, held last week : Gentlemen, ' Your commitee have much pleasure in submitting to you their annual report of the Club's progress during the past season : Grounds: On the recommendation of the last general annual meeting the Club purchased from Messrs King and Jamieson half an acre of land on the southern side of the present green to meet the. future requirements of the Clijb. A croquet lawn has just been laid down and will probably be available for play during the coming season. An extra rink has also been roughly formed, and it 1 is intended to complete it next autumn. The green has been levelled and top-dressed. Finance: The Club commenced the year with an overdraft at the Bank of New Zealand of £2513s lid.
