FRACAS AT HAMILTON
CHINESE SERIOUSLY INJURED Hamilton, this day. Some young men on Saturday night broke the window of a Chinese laundry. The proprietor followed them to the railway station, and demanded payment. A general melee ensued, during which the Chinaman and another man fell off the platform on to the rails'. The Chinaman was rendered unconscious, and was removed to the Hospital. To-day he had not regained consciousness. John Murray was arrested in connection with the alleged assault, and was remanded till Saturuay next.
