Emile Gabovian has obtained the distinguished honour of pi-o?iding literary relaxation for Prince Bismark. . ■ The man of iron delights to study the creations of .this brilliant French novelist, whose life-like . creations are vastly superior to the degrading realisms of Zola. The. latter seems to have found an English imitator in George Moore, ■whose, "Mummer's" Wife " is realistic in the fullest sense. Other interesting books are "A Roman Singer," by Crawford ; (i John Bull's Womankind " and kC A Drawn Game," by Basil ; " Doctor Jacob," by Miss Edwards; "Doris," "Judith Shakespeare," &c, &c. These can all be had at the Exchange Library, corner of Queen and Durham-streets.
