Rules for Correspondents.
1. Sign your genuine signature and state your address.
2. Write legibly on one side of the paper only,
3. Prepay the postage, or drop communications nto the Editor's -Box.
4>. Do not mix up business matters with letters addressed to the Editor, but address all business communications, money-orders, bank notes, cheques, or postage stamps to Tbe Manager, Observkb. "When remitting stamps do not fasten thsm to the letter in any manner whatever.

7. We cannot, insert matters of business which. fairiy belong to the advertising- department. Hence we do not publish in the news columns oilers or requests to hire, to sell, let, loud, borrow, give, or purchase.
8. Tlie Editor does not undertake to answer private inquiries, except in very special cases relating to bis own department.
9. Communications which do not conform to the above rnlos are destroyed, and 110 rejected manuscript is returned.
