Charley says the musician of Onehunga. is not well-bred, or he would not turn so crusty when askd to play for a dance. The polite manner in which Tommy assisted Miss C. off the 'bus was much admired, but he should not have let her in the mud. Who was the young lady at the concert that said she thought the drummer boy was the best musician in the band, and that when he grew a little bigger they should make him bandmaster ? An Onehunga Idtl. 'Ti3 very wrong, I'm sure, dear friend, To act in such a way — A married man well on in years, Your hair is dashed with grey — To write unto another's wife I'm sure is rather fast, Xfiming the trysting hour at seven, Or latest, quarter past. One word of counsel I would give, Forsake this evil way ; If not, take care, your future notes, To her don't go astray.
