Mr I. ABEAHAM, of Dunedin, has placed in the hands of the Sporting Editor of the Auckland Observer the sum of £5 ss, which will be presented to the Tipster of the THREE FIRST HORSES (in the order named) in the Melbourne Cup. Should more tian one be successful in their tips, precedence will be given to the first competitor. In the event of no person correctly placing the Horses, the amount will then be handed over to the funds of the Benevolent Institution.
