FANTICISM AT TAURANGA.
The Plymouth Brethren of Tauranga are s;asakening.5 ;asakening. They have now a regular service, have captured several vacillating Anglicans. This reminds us of one of their body .who once lived in that district. On his farm was a fingerpost, one arm of which indicated his house, the other the road to Tauranga. On the first he placed. a large poster, with the legend, " Come to the Lord ;" on the other the suggestive inscription, " G-o, ye sinners, unto eternal damnation," and the inexorable index finger pointed TaurangaI wards. Another Brother — a shoemaker — built his house in the form of a church, in. order that he " might ever pray," etc.
