Mr I. ABRAHAM, of Dunedin, has placed in the hands of the Sporting Editor of the Auckland Obsebveb the sum of £5 ss, which will be presented to the Tipster of the THREE FIRST HORSES (in the order named) in the Melbourne Cup. Should more tlan one be successful in their tips, precedence will be given to the first competitor. In the event of no person correctly placing the Horses, the amount will then be handed over to the funds of the Benevolent Institution. N.B.— Applications muet be sent in before the Ist Novembee, and upon the annexed printed form of the Obsebver, otherwise they will not be recognised. Cut This Out. Cut This Out FORM.
