In consequence of the great popularity of the prize essays published in the Observer, on social and domestic subjects, and the encouragement they afford to latent literary talent, we have decided to offer a prize of One Pound for another essay on the subject of The Training- and Management of CniLDREN. 1. The competition is open to ladies only. 2. The essay may be of any length. • 3. Competitors must write only on one side of the paper. 4. Essays must be sent in on or before March 17th (to-day). 5.
