THE LOGOMACHIC COMPETITION
A prize of £1 will be given to the subscriber who first guesses the name of the place selected for the fourth puzzle, beginning with the letter D and containing the letter n. Fill up the blanks in the appended coupon and forward it to the Puzzle Editor. Any attempt to ante-date the day or wilfully misstate the hour of posting that may be discovered will involve disqualification. The competition will close on February 3rd. Four Coupons must be sent in by each competitor. LOGOMACHIC COUPON. Word W^ , Name.., , „ Address Date Hour When posted. o PRIZE FOR WATER-COLOUR SKETCH. We offered to give a prize of ten shillings to the boy or girl who supplied the best water-colour sketch — any subject — on or before January Ist, ISB3, but there being not sufficient competition for the prize, the time is extended till January 31&t. The sketch must be accompanied by sis coupons as below.
