The Howling-Dervish Committee^have rented the Library for nothing one Friday in every month, to mangle water doggerel. Willie is mad about it, but cannot help himself, having now become a mere tool of the committee, .on whose will depends hia living. Brigham bad sense enough not to join the Howls. The fledgling parson is to be kicked from the manse the next time he comes, for too much curiosity in prying into closets during his recent visit. The abbess thinks he had a right to^do so by ordination. The Library Committeo are getting into bad grace for allowing howlers and bagmen to use the hall. It is high time to have new blood.
